Services
The services provided by Countryside Estates include the following but are not limited to these core services. The care we provide at Countryside is individualized to the resident's physical and social needs.
24 Hour Nursing Care
Countryside provides licensed nursing staff 24 hrs a day to meet our residents medical
needs. All direct care staff are licensed and/or certified and background checks are
done on all employees before employment. Our medical director makes weekly visits to
the facility and a registered nurse is on duty 8 hrs a day 7 days a week.
Ventilator/ Respiratory Care
Countryside Estates is one of the few nursing facilities to offer ventilator and
specialized respiratory care. Our 30 bed ventilator unit makes Countryside Estates one
of the largest long term ventilator care facilities in Oklahoma. Our residents are cared
for by our trained nursing and respiratory therapy staff. In-house visits are performed
monthly by a pulmonologist.
Skilled Nursing and Rehab Services
We offer skilled nursing services including administration of IV antibiotics and our
therapy department is dedicated to getting you on your feet and back home as quickly
as possible.
Activities / Social Events
The goal of our activity department is to engage our residents in various activities and
outings to stimulate the mind, body and spirit.
Dietary Services
Our dietary department works in conjuction with a registered dietician to ensure our patients
dietary needs are met. Our kitchen staff strive to offer meals residents enjoy with a
home cooked flavor.
Other Services
Beauty/Barber, Wifi, Cable, Laundry and Housekeeping services are provided to our
residents at no additional cost.
Who Will Pay For Nursing Home Care?
- Medicaid; available through the Department of Human Services for individuals
that require 24hr nursing care in a nursing facility. Contact your local DHS
office to see if you qualify.
- Medicare; available to almost everyone 65 and older that receive social security.
Medicare is the primary payer source for skilled nursing care.
- Long term care insurance; there are various companies that offer this insurance and
will pay for nursing home care.
- VA benefits; benefits are available through the Department of Veterans Affairs
for those that quailify.
- Private pay; for those individuals that do not meet medicaid or medicare
requirements who are still in need of 24hr nursing care.
What Are Admission Requirements?
A resident may not be admitted to a nursing facility without a doctors order. This is
usually provided by the individuals primary care physician or upon discharge from a
hospital.
